Thesis Statement Guidelines:

A good thesis statement should include:
1. The argument you want to make
2. 3 claims that support your argument
Example:
The decline of the power of the Catholic Church, the rise of government systems, and an increase in trade all help to prove that the development of nation states was a turning point in world history.

Task: Choose 3 eras; read and answer the questions for the 4 sources for each era. You should complete 12 sources total
Due: Monday, April 16, 2012; each day that the sources are late two points will be deducted
Research Paper Reminder:

1. Completing these sources well and on-time can earn you 24 points towards the 130 total points that you can earn for this research paper.
2. We will be working on this paper in class for the first week that we return from Spring Break
