Where to Find Sources:

  • Old Regents Exams (DBQ Documents usually start on page 12, so you can just skip ahead to that page to scan the topic of the DBQ and the documents)

  • History Teacher (There are SOOO many places to look, I don't even know where to start. This site is A-MAZING)

  • Regents Prep (Click here for a direct link to their Political Systems Section)

  • Fordham Sourcebook (Choose a time period on the left sidebar and begin scrolling through the time, then make further selections on the left sidebar)
  • Google Scholar: Instead of doing an ordinary Google search, type in your political system with its region, click on "More">"Scholar" and you'll come up with scholarly articles, historian's perspectives, and research by professional analysts on your topic. BEWARE- some of these have VERY difficult language, if you're having trouble reading the first paragraph, move on to the next article.
  • Regular Old Google: Type in the naem of your political system and the letters "DBQ" after.
    • Ex: "Feudalism Japan DBQ"
    • Ex: "Absolutism France DBQ"
  • Classroom Documents: I have lots of sources in my classroom. Come by on Monday during lunch and I can help you choose some from my stock if you are having difficulty finding sources.
